An honest note: simulator training supplements real-world driving instruction. It does not replace required behind-the-wheel experience, and it is not a state-licensed driver-education course. Research shows simulators improve hazard awareness, lane maintenance and speed control; we use them to make real road time safer and more productive.

For beginners who need help with steering, braking, turning, mirrors, lane position, and basic vehicle control.

Practice parking, intersections, lane changes, highway merging, traffic awareness, and emergency braking.

  • Four-way stops and protected turns

What To Expect

YOUR FIRST SESSION

  1. Arrive & get seatedWe fit the seat, wheel and pedals so the cockpit feels like a real car.

  3. Basic vehicle controlSmooth inputs in an empty environment. No traffic, no pressure.

PARENTS ARE WELCOME TO WATCH

You can stay for the whole session and see exactly what your teen is practicing, and where they still need work. Parental involvement is one of the strongest factors in teen-driver safety.

WHO COACHES

Sessions are run by Academy simulator coaches. Academy is not a state-licensed driving school and does not employ state-certified driving instructors, so simulator time supplements the behind-the-wheel instruction Florida requires rather than counting toward it.

PROGRESS REPORTING

Every session ends with a verbal debrief with the parent: what went well, what to practice next, and where to go from here.

TEEN TRAINING FAQ

No experience is required. The simulator is built for brand-new drivers, and we start with the basics. A learner's permit is not required to train on the simulator.
Sessions are booked hourly. Most first-time students do a single one-hour session; families working toward a road test often book several across a few weeks.

We get your teen seated and comfortable with the wheel, pedals and mirrors, then start with basic vehicle control before moving to turns and lane position. No pressure and no traffic until they are ready.
